Why can't all cultural practices be always correct

All cultural practices can and are judged as wrong or right.

The issue is: who does the judging?

The very definition of culture is “the set of norms that guide a group’s behaviour determining what is considered acceptable or not acceptable, what is considered right or wrong.”

There is no universally accepted notion of “right” and “wrong.” The closest thing to that is the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, approved by the United Nations General Assembly… but it is not really universal, because it is not accepted in its totality by every culture on the planet.

In practice, each culture enforces what it considers right and wrong. And each individual advocates the cultural practices that are consistent with that individual’s personal values.
