    Then we look for the other factor to make both equations true. (Look for the factors that if you look for the LCM, it would result to 56)

    14 = 7 • 2

    x = 7 • 4

    And as you can see, I have the right factors. After the third step, we multiply the factors we have given to the x.

    The product is 28. Which means, the other number is 28.
