The Bungkaka is also known as Bamboo buzzer, made from bamboo. You play it by holding with your hand, and covering the holed part with your thumb, and lightly hitting or striking the forked end of the instrument to the palm of your other hand. It makes a nice buzzing and earthy sound.
The bungkaka is commonly used around the Cordillera Administrative Regions, specifically used by the Ibaloi, in the Ifugao and Kalinga provinces.
