    Explanation:

    If a man wishes to use a plane mirror on a wall to view both his head and his feet as he stands in front of the mirror, the required length of the mirror is equal to one half the height of the man.

    It is because when the light emitted from his feet it reflects in the half of a mirror where his eyes can reach. Since a half mirror and the direction of the person sight will reflect so it can reach the lower half image of a person, thus, he only needs a half-length mirror or one half the height of a man to see his full image (head to foot).
