MetalThe non-metal forms of Anion are being formed after Ionic bonding.Ionic bonds are formed through the exchange of valence electrons between atoms, typically a metal and a nonmetalAfter 'ionic bonding' the atoms are stable because the metal transfers its 'electron to the nonmetal' and complete its 'noble gas configuration; explanation; ionic bond, atoms exchange electron between two set of atom. In ionic bond a metal lose its electron and the non-metal gains electron.Ionic bonding will take place when there is a presence of metal (positive ion) and nonmetal (negative ion). It is the kind of bonding where in the negative ion easily gets the electrons of the positive ion. Thus, there must be an opposite attraction present (negative and positive) for the bonding to take place.No. not all metal-nonmetal combinations will result in an ionic bond. Only those with electronegativity difference of more than 1.9 will result to an ionic bond.

Ionic bond can be form between metals and non metals when the element has an electronegativity difference with only 1.9 morethan ..

Ionic bonds can form between nonmetals and metals, while covalent bonds form when electrons are shared between two nonmetals. Ionic bonds form only between metals and nonmetals. That's because metals “want” to give up electrons, and nonmetals “want” to gain electrons. It takes energy to remove valence electrons from an atom and form a positive ion. Energy is released when an atom gains valence electrons and forms a negative ion.

    Hope my answer helps :)

They will becuase the charge of gasses is negative and the metals is positive so if the negative is too low for the positive u will need another negative like Cl- + Mg2+=Cl2Mg

Yes. Only non metals to non metals form covalent bonds
