    Explanation:

    Valency - Valency is the total number of atoms in the outermost shell of the atom. If the valence is completed it is known by two names one is octet and another one is duplet. Octet is when all 8 shells of the outermost shell of the atoms are filled the elements who have the full shell filled is called as Noble Gas for example Argon and Neon etc. Duplet is when the outermost shell of the atom can fill two atoms. Example: Helium it is the only noble gas  having duplet filled.

    Atomic Number - It is the total number of protons present in the atom.

    Mass Number - It is the number of protons + the number of neutrons present in the nucleus of the atom.
